The
Client Experience
Once you are
on the program, you will receive deliveries between the hours of
9:00 am and 4:00 pm on your designated delivery days. You must be
home to receive your delivery, as our drivers and volunteers will
not leave your meals on your doorknob, with a neighbor, your Super
or your doorman. On the first day you receive a meal, the driver
or volunteer will have paperwork for you to sign and return.
Your client
packet will include:
- Client Agreement
Form
- Client Grievance
Policy and Procedure Form
- Proxy Delivery
Form (This form allows anyone who opens the door to your home
to accept your meal in your absence.)
You will receive
a copy of all of these forms for your records, plus a copy of the
medical eligibility form, if you are getting the form completed
by your doctor personally, as well as a meal menu.
Your meal will
include a bagel, soup, entrée and a dessert for each day,
unless otherwise determined by our Nutrition Department. Deliveries
received on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will include two bagels,
two soups, two desserts, one hot entrée and one frozen entrée.
A Thursday delivery will include two bagels, two soups, two desserts,
one hot entrée and three frozen entrées. A Friday
delivery will include one bagel, one soup, one hot entrée
and one dessert. If your delivery does not arrive as per above,
please contact Client Services.
If you know
you will miss a delivery due to a medical appointment, please notify
Client Services 24 hours in advance so we can cancel your delivery.
Cancellations made the day of your delivery will result in you also
missing your next delivery.
If you or your
proxy are not home when a driver attempts to make a delivery, you
are marked as missing. Meals services will be suspended until you
contact Client Services and confirm you will be home for your next
delivery.
Nutritional
Counseling is available to all of our clients, including a reassessment
every six months by one of our registered dieticians. To contact

God's Love We
Deliver is closed on all government holidays, except for Thanksgiving
and Christmas. Meals will be delivered in advance for those closures.
A special meal is served to our clients and a guest on Thanksgiving
and Christmas, regardless if that holiday falls on your specific
delivery schedule.
