About Us
God’s Love We Deliver, a nonsectarian organization, is the New York metropolitan area’s leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses. Begun as an HIV/AIDS service organization, today God’s Love provides for people living with more than 200 individual diagnoses. God’s Love cooks and home delivers the specific, nutritious meals a client’s severe illness and treatment so urgently require. Meals are individually tailored for each client by one of our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, and clients have access to unlimited nutrition counseling. God’s Love supports families by providing meals for the children and senior caregivers of our clients. All of our services are provided free of charge to clients.
About the Role:
The Design & Marketing Associate creates effective print, digital, and video communications across all platforms and departments to appeal to a wide variety of individuals. The Design & Marketing Associate develops print materials, ad placements and produces, edits, and publishes video and social media content. They also lead the graphic design and layout of agency-branded documentation, including brochures, appeal letters/packages, flyers, invitations, presentations, the Impact Summary, annual report, and pamphlets.
The Design & Marketing Associate supports all marketing initiatives, maintains our brand, clearly communicates the mission, is the storyteller through visuals, and creates visuals and content to engage our current and potential clients and their referrers, donors and volunteers. They will work closely with the Events and Philanthropy teams on the design and execution of signature and third-party events.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications but works closely with the Philanthropy and Events teams, and other departments.

- This is a hybrid position allowing for some remote work and requiring regular in-office workdays.
- This is a Full-Time exempt position, paying $62,000 – $66,000 annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Materials:
- Maintain all print documentation and marketing materials, including managing concept development, design and production.
- Manage the design and layout of marketing materials/flyers that support various agency departments and programs, including Client Services, Policy and Planning, and Nutrition.
- Support the Senior Director of Business Development & Community Partnerships to market the God’s Love We Deliver medically tailored meal program to the healthcare community (including physicians and plan executives) and individuals.
- Develop new brand elements (logos, illustrations, icons).
- Collaborate on stewarding the God’s Love “brand;” uphold design standards as laid out in our style guide, and manage expressions of the organization’s identity.
- Review all documents for branding and update brand page on website.
- Help manage the digital and physical archive of design projects by ensuring that all digital files are organized and have backed up documentation and secure print samples and file in accordance with the Communication Department’s archival guidelines.
- As needed, collaborate with external graphic designer on design and layout of materials.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team on the marketing calendar to ensure deadlines are met and content is correct.
Social Media:
- Maintain knowledge of, and activate on, social media marketing trends with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Generate and review relevant content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Every quarter, provide a summary to gauge our success productivity.
Video:
- In collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team, produce small-scale video production projects, including Facebook Live, video tours, client (video) testimonials), and short agency videos.
- Edit videos.
Special Events:
- Support the Events Team in managing the marketing plan for all special events, including print production, e-communications, and graphic design of print or digital assets.
Other duties as assigned, including:
- Maintain records in RE NXT
- Participate in agency events and cultivation activities as needed.
- Use PageProof for all editing projects.
- Develop a strong working understanding of God’s Love project management/data systems including Monday.com, RE NXT.
About You:
You are a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic communications professional with a strong desire to provide support to clients living with a serious illness. You are looking for a collaborative, team-oriented environment. You are energized by turning information and client stories into engaging and shareable material across media.
In addition, you meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of deep marketing and design experience.
- Minimum two to three years of graphic design experience and excellence with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, and Premiere Pro.
- Experience maintaining website and implementation of new content or layout (WordPress).
- Strong expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Premiere Pro, Canva, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, a project management system like Monday.com.
- Strong experience with WordPress, PageProof, Raiser’s Edge.
- Expertise in videography and video editing (e.g., with Premiere Pro) is required; photography experience is a plus.
- Ability to shoot high-quality video with an iPhone or digital camera.
- Design fluency and expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
- Willingness to conceptualize fresh, compelling ideas to convey God’s Love’s Mission and Brand aesthetic.
- Demonstrated work quality, attention to detail, creativity, and consistency of work product quality, including proofreading, grammar, and spelling.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task and self-prioritize.
- Proven ability to function effectively and cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a positive and energetic attitude during challenging situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A compelling and thoughtful portfolio, that illustrates depth and breadth of design skills.
