The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (NYCWFF) is NYC’s largest wine and food festival showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned chefs, wine and spirit producers, culinary personalities, lifestyle experts and America’s most beloved television chefs. NYCWFF supports New Yorkers affected by severe illness and food poverty through God’s Love We Deliver.

God’s Love We Deliver, a nonsectarian organization, is the New York metropolitan area’s leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses. Begun as an HIV/AIDS service organization, today God’s Love provides for people living with more than 200 individual diagnoses. God’s Love cooks and home delivers the specific, nutritious meals a client’s severe illness and treatment so urgently require. Meals are individually tailored for each client by one of our Registered Dietitians, and all clients have access to unlimited nutrition counseling. God’s Love supports families by providing meals for the children and senior caregivers of its clients. All of the agency’s services are provided free of charge.

About the Role

The Manager of Sponsorship Fulfillment will develop and manage day-to-day management of sponsorship operations including all Sponsorship-related contractors and contracts, database management and oversight, and management of all sponsor activation execution. This role will manage seasonal staff as applicable.

  • This is a hybrid position allowing for some remote work and requiring regular in-office workdays.
  • This is a Full-Time exempt position, paying $70,000-75,000 annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee sponsor contract execution process via redlines and liaising with God’s Love team, including contract drafts through execution.
  • Manage relationships with Committee – direct report for Sponsor Managers as they guide each sponsor through Festival life cycle, from contract execution through onsite activation.
  • Run bi-weekly Sponsorship team calls and oversee calendar for Festival Sponsorship portfolio and operations.
  • Develop optimal data management tools for the Sponsorship Team.
  • Work in tandem with the marketing team to assure all sponsor marketing assets are fulfilled.
  • Manage Sponsorship team members and collaborate cross-functionally with the Production and Marketing teams, as well as with the Associate Director, Finance.
  • Sponsor activation management of up to eight sponsors, acting as a day-to-day contact to assure contracted benefits are fulfilled.
  • Provide sales support as needed, supporting the wider sponsorship team in reaching sponsorship revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Associate Director, Finance, and Festival Director, on all sponsorship related finance needs.
  • Approve all Festival wide sponsor signage needs, proofing signage, and communicating edits and approvals to editors.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends in food, large scale festivals and events.

You have an interest in the NYC culinary world and a passion for relationship development, brand activation and sponsorship fulfillment.

In addition, the right candidate meets the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field (e.g., event management, nonprofit management, hospitality and tourism, marketing).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (sponsor activation management, account management, large scale events with multiple sponsorship touchpoints).
  • Effective management skills in working across several teams and oversight of seasonal contractors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop).
  • Flexibility and eagerness to learn new platforms/software ( e.g., Salesforce, AirTable, ProofHQ ).
  • Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and meticulous with data input.
  • Must be a team player committed to constant improvement and creative approach to working in new situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with competing demands and seasonal long hours of intense work pace.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills, provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
