Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, Alzheimer's Disease and other life-altering illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We do this by preparing and delivering delicious nutritious meals to people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. Because the severity of each person's illness differs, God's Love prepares nutritionally-tailored meals that support each individual's specific medical treatment. We also understand the strain that illness places on families, and therefore, provide meals to our clients' children and senior caregivers.

The Home Delivered Meal Program provides home-delivered, customized, nutritionally appropriate meals to clients in all five boroughs of New York City as well as Hudson County and two congregate sites in Newark, New Jersey. Our meals are designed by our team of Registered Dietitians and our Executive Chef to respond to the specific dietary needs of all of our clients. Our meals are freshly prepared and do not contain preservatives.

When a parent is very sick the family's nutrition needs are often compromised. Realizing that many of our clients give their meals to their children, we developed a menu specifically to address the unique nutrition needs of children ages 12 and under (adolescents benefit from our regular menu). Our Children's Menu includes breakfast and dinner as the children of our clients are in school during lunchtime. Breakfasts include cold cereals, oatmeal, low-fat milk, yogurt, raisins and fruits, while dinner has "child-sized" portions of "kid-friendly" food such as turkey meatballs and spaghetti, along with fruit and desserts. And, to help children keep their nourishment up after school, we include a daily snack of soup, granola bar, fruit, cheese and other healthy items.
God's Love provides home-delivered meals to senior caregivers, age 60+, who reside with our senior clients.
