God's Love We Deliver
166 Avenue of the Americas
New York, NY 10013
Our community has grown and evolved over the years and now includes an incredibly diverse group of clients, volunteers, staff, donors and other supporters. Our volunteers, donors and staff all work together to achieve one critical goal: ensuring that our most vulnerable friends and neighbors have access to nutritious meals at a time in their lives when they need them most.
The God’s Love story has always been one of caring and compassion, from the day one woman delivered a single meal to a man dying from AIDS to today, when a cast of literally thousands of people work in concert with each other to prepare and deliver meals to our clients living will all types of life altering diseases. While our community has grown considerably over the years, one thing has always remained the same, and that is our belief that no person should ever suffer the dual crisis of hunger and serious illness. Together, we do great things!
God's Love will provide meals and nutrition counseling for more than 6,000 clients this year. Click here to read a profile of one of them!
Our volunteers are our lifeline, outnumbering staff by a ratio of nearly 100:1 and providing 132,000 hours of service every year. Here we spotlight one such individual.
Our advocacy program is strong and growing. We count on the voices of our clients, volunteers, Board members and staff to put our issues and concerns in front of policymakers. We advocate for public policies that support access to food and nutrition services and that fund the provision of these services. There is a lot to accomplish. Be sure to sign up as an advocate!
Whether you are a client, volunteer, donor or other supporter, everyone has their own story to tell about their involvement with God's Love We Deliver. Our community is interested in hearing your story and what you have to say. We hope you'll share it with us here!
