About Victoria de Lesseps
First born in Southampton, Victoria de Lesseps is twenty six years old. Graduated Pratt Institute in 2016 with a BFA in Communications Designs.
She first began drawing as a child and primarily works without reference; whimsy, chaos, and serenity to play. At the age of four a pencil was in hand. Discovering Oil paint challenged her to trust, learn, and discover colors language,
power, emotion, and transformative essence. This rebirth lead to sculpture. Bridging the three mediums is where the lifted veils of 2021 will express, clash, and regenerate in the next coming year of 2022.
The work is inspired the realm of the spirit, and by the worlds beyond.
The paintings are a physical manifestation and expression of the process by where the spirit detangles, unravels, and protects the being, and rebels without violence against the societal persuasions, shadows, and passed down strings which
all bind us to repetitive pain; therefore obstructing our divine harmony.
By diving into the gateways buried beneath the veil of skin we can discover the portals of enlightenment, revelation, elevation, resurrection, and triumph. All the keys hide with meaning within ourselves and others.
By believing instead of betraying the origins purpose, we can tap into our natural states’ of creation, forgiveness, regeneration, blessing, and giving. I am forever on a quest to break through, with the help of these worlds and entities
which guide me.
Our world is breaking, spirits are rising, and the prison of matter will fall. Every painting and all art is divine rebellion. In seeking, the work has found its way into the worlds in between which guide, reveal, and cultivate inner truth in order to walk freely without unconscious control by destroying the messages of powers which no nothing of love.
May you find the freedom of the heart.
May these works guide you as they have guided me into a deeper place where worlds meet and gateways break apart the need and fear for more. They continue to rescue my self from subjecting the divine being to energetic planes and
stagnant dimensions which do not belong and do not serve a greater purpose but act as a ghostly purgatory pattern.
