About Jody Morlock
Jody MORLOCK is a multi talented artist who grew up in Florida and transplanted herself in NYC in the fantastic 80’s. She designed jewelry for Patricia Field, Fiorucci and was fortunate enough to be around and was influenced by many of the great artists of the times. Her Art work is an eclectic mix of humor, graffiti influences, modern design and African and Egyptian art. She is also a talented make up artist who has traveled around the world with Cyndi Lauper and worked on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Trevor Noah claiming “It’s was best paid education I could of ever dreamed of”. She also recently did the drawings for the cover and inside of Debbie Harry’s memoir and hand painted her a suit for Press. Jody is also one of the artist who participates with Patricia Field’s group, ART FASHION – hand painting clothes for Bergdorf Goodman, the TV show Empire and Emily in Paris. Billy Porter has worn two of her painted suits.
Her paintings are collected by celebrities, architects and designers. The acclaimed architect Jeffery Beers hired her to create paintings and sculptures for the restaurant CA Va. She also painted a mural in the fantastic Winwood area in Miami.
