About Beatrice Wolert
Beatrice Wolert is a first generation Polish-American visual artist raised in Greenpoint, Brooklyn where she continues to live and maintain her studio practice. Wolert works between genres exploring concepts of impermanence, essentiality and serendipity through transformation of everyday materials and found objects.
Wolert holds a BA in Design from Adelphi University and an MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute. She has exhibited her work at venues such as Underdonk, Trestle Contemporary Art Gallery, NURTUREart, Feature, Inc., Denise Bibro, HQ, A.I.R. Gallery, Artists Space, D.U.M.B.O. Art Center and Exit Art (New York), Woman Made Gallery (Chicago), BLAM Projects (Los Angeles), and internationally in New Zealand and England. She has installed numerous public outdoor installations, given artist talks and partook in the Elizabeth Foundation for the Art’s shift residency, New York, NY, and the Bridge Residency, Los Angeles, CA.
