God’s Love is proud to announce a new fundraising initiative, “Art for Love.” With the intention of bringing two of life’s greatest joys – food and art – together, Art for Love was born. Throughout the year, God’s Love will work with the artistry community to offer limited edition prints, one-of-a-kind pieces and other special sales with all proceeds benefiting our program of medically tailored meals.
To kick off Art for Love, renowned Brooklyn-based artist Derrick Adams created four new prints and, in conjunction with Tandem Press, will offer a percent of all sales of this new series to God’s Love We Deliver. These prints can be seen at the Tandem Press booth at the 2024 Armory Show, September 8-10 at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
About the Artist
Derrick Adams celebrates and expands the dialogue around contemporary Black life and culture through scenes of normalcy and perseverance. He has developed an iconography of joy, leisure, and the pursuit of happiness with a multidisciplinary practice that encompasses paintings, sculptures, collages, performances, videos, and public projects.
