March is National Nutrition Month!
National Nutrition Month is an annual campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that invites everyone to learn about nutrition, and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits. Your Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at God’s Love We Deliver is here to help all year round.
At God’s Love, our RDNs work with you to develop an individualized nutrition plan to help manage your illness, boost your immune system, and handle any symptoms and complications. If you have any questions and/or would like to speak to a RDN, you are welcome to call or email at any time.
Celebrate a World of Flavors
National Nutrition Month this year celebrates food and flavors from cultures around the world. There is no better place to celebrate this diversity than New York City – the home to people from all over the world! Here at God’s Love, we serve thousands of people every day from many different backgrounds. In doing so, we use a variety of spices, flavors, and seasonings to prepare things like Sofrito Meatloaf, Black Eyed Pea & Collard Green Soup, Teriyaki Glazed Salmon, Chicken Caribe, and Beef Picadillo, that are inspired by world cuisines.
Help us Honor your Cultural Foods, and Celebrate with You!
This month, we invite you to tell us about food and meals from your culture. What are the flavors that are meaningful to you? What foods and meals are part of your cultural background? Your participation will help inspire our menu development, to include flavors from all over the world for everyone to enjoy.
There are several ways to participate.
