Charming! This delightful card was created by a preschool student. Of course penguins wear caps and scarves in winter time ... just like everyone else!
Here is a big wish for a small planet. We people are so diverse, yet our hopes for happiness tie us together regardless of time or place. Truly, best wishes to all!
Many of us picture a dove to express the wish for peace in our time and hope for the future. Often a favorite card to send on special occasions, this lovely age-old symbol reflects your thoughtful appreciation, affection and friendship for those in your life you love and care for.
Cartoonist Art Glazer does it again! Art’s delightful sketches tell our story with a only a few strokes of his ink pen. In fact, we cover 450 square miles to deliver 2,500 meals every day, including the Thanksgiving and Christmas, regardless of weather. And we do it all with great care because it means so much to so many.
All it takes is a little snow and ice, a lot of enthusiasm and a pair of skates to meet a friend or neighbor and make a winter’s day memorable. Even if you prefer to stay in to avoid the cold weather, here’s a card to send to that friend or neighbor and make their day a warm and happy one.
Jicky, veteran volunteer and full-time staffer, has long been passionate about our work. She is also passionate about her landscape photography. Here, Jicky captured the graceful elegance of Bow Bridge in Central Park during a blizzard in 2006. The second oldest cast-iron bridge in America, completed in 1862, Bow Bridge is an all-season favorite setting for lovers, dreamers, New Yorkers and visitors from the world over.
