Terrence Meck

Terrence Meck is the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at God’s Love We Deliver. Terrence previously served on the organization’s Board of Directors as of 2011, and as Board Chair from 2019-2023.

During his tenure on our Board, Terrence supported God’s Love through an era of tremendous growth: we delivered our 30 millionth meal; doubled the number of meals we delivered annually; moved into our new SoHo headquarters, the Michael Kors Building; expanded to the historic Northern Dispensary; launched the benefit concert Love Rocks NYC; launched the young professionals group genLOVE and Culinary Council; became the exclusive charity partner for the New York City Wine & Food Festival, and so much more.

As Chief Strategy and Growth Officer and on the precipice of our 40 millionth meal and 40th year, Terrence will help God’s Love move into the next era of our work. Terrence will oversee strategic decisions around growth in meal production, geography, policy work, systems and more.

For the past sixteen years, Terrence has served as Co-Founder and President of The Palette Fund, a private foundation dedicated to advancing social change in communities that are under-resourced and facing significant challenges. The Palette Fund honors the legacy of his late husband Rand Skolnick who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in 2008.  Since its inception, The Palette Fund has granted more than $20 million to over 250 organizations throughout the United States and abroad. After graduating from Princeton University with a BA in Political Science, Terrence worked in publicity in the wine, food and fashion industries before owning and operating The Raven Resort Properties in New Hope, PA. One of his favorite passions has been dedicating his time and talents to the many nonprofit organizations he has worked with over the years including his extensive service on nearly a dozen Board of Directors.  These include the Movement Advancement Project, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, The Victory Fund, The Provincetown Commons, Prospect New Orleans, God’s Love We Deliver, Threshold Foundation, The New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care and the Urban Beekeeping Laboratory. When not in New York City, Terrence and his partner Breton split their time between Provincetown and New Orleans.
