Our chefs and registered dietitian nutritionists use LOTS of herbs when they create our recipes🌱 🌿, that’s how they keep our meals full of flavor AND heart healthy❤️ for our clients. This steady supply of chives, parsley or cilantro is grown on urban farms across NYC by our partners at ProjectEats.

Organic, hyperlocal, and packed with flavor, we love knowing that our medically tailored meals (MTM) are seasoned with ingredients that keep our clients, our city, and our world healthy. This #WorldFoodDay we’re thanking our #FoodHeroes who help us keep our food system, and healthcare system sustainable and delicious. It’s these chefs, farmers, and RDNs that allow us to cook more than 2 million MTM each year. To us, sustainability is about sustaining our city’s community based organizations, sustaining our clients’ health, and sustaining our environment’s resilience.
We’re constantly looking to increase the sustainability of our sourcing. Director of Nutrition Services, Lisa Zullig, has built close relationships to local and sustainable purveyors, collaborating with individual farms and working with GrowNYC. Our food heroes are our nutritionists, our chefs, and the farmers who grow the food that we cook into each and every medically tailored meal.
