Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, God’s Love We Deliver has followed government and public health protocols to ensure the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and others who come to our offices. Hand sanitizer and masks are available throughout the God’s Love facility. We practice appropriate social distancing in our work stations. And all employees planning to work from the office on a given day answer questions about their health, symptoms and travel before they come to our worksite. Candidates who come on site for their interviews are similarly asked to pre-certify in these areas before they enter our offices.
The Pastry Chef directs the preparation, cooking and packaging of baked goods for the Meal Program and supervises Bakery staff and volunteers. Works with the Executive Chef to write and revise the baked goods cycle consistent with nutritional requirements of our clients. The hours for this role are typically 11:00AM to 6:30PM Sunday through Thursday but may require morning/evening and/or weekend work as well.
The primary responsibility of the Finance Data Entry Clerk is to support and assist the Contributions Manager, especially, but not exclusively, with various aspects of donation processing. In addition, there will be responsibility providing support to various aspects of the earned income meal program as well as providing overall administrative support to the Department.
The Maintenance Technician conducts plumbing (e.g., fix minor leaks), electrical (e.g., replacement of ballasts, light fixtures, and outlets), locks and security systems, and mechanical preventative and maintenance work (e.g., inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters). The Maintenance Technician collaborates with external vendors to expedite repair and maintenance projects.
The Development Associate (Major Donor) will lead all Key Donor/Corporate Partner & VIP volunteer initiatives working closely with our Volunteer Department, Kitchen & Delivery departments. Assists in the development and execution of an annual plan to cultivate & solicit individual gifts from both new and existing donors.
Coordinates agency food safety and sanitation protocols including monitoring, training, and quality control. Plans and reviews menu system to ensure meals provided meet nutrition standards and changing needs of clients.
The Chief Financial Officer reports to the President & Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Executive Team with the CEO, Vice President/Chief Development Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Human Resources Officer.
We seek a Driver to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of meals to the door of our clients, and to act as a public face of God’s Love in a compassionate, courteous and professional manner. Our Drivers make up to sixty (60) delivery stops per day, Monday through Friday, and are a core partof our Delivery team.
