Young Hearts Leadership Council

Who We Are

The Young Hearts Leadership Council is a group of between 10-15 members who are currently in or entering Grades 9-12. Just as our client base is made up of New Yorkers from all walks of life, so too are our Young Hearts Leaders, a diverse group of individuals drawn together by a shared passion for the God’s Love mission. This one-year commitment provides extraordinary leadership experience and allows our youngest advocates to meaningfully engage with the organization.

What We Do

• Advocate for youth volunteerism and involvement with God’s Love We Deliver
• Advise God’s Love leadership on policies pertaining to youth engagement
• Act as ambassadors for God’s Love at our events and activations throughout the year
• Lead by example through volunteering and engagement

How Do I Apply?

Applications to join the 2026-27 Leadership Council will open in July 2026.

2025-26 Cohort

The first-ever cohort of the Young Hearts Leadership Council joined us for the 2025-26 school year. Ranging from freshman to seniors and representing 12 NYC high schools, this group made a huge impact on God’s Love We Deliver!

Throughout the year, they were volunteers in our kitchen and bakery, led by example by sharing our work with your peers at clubs and school fairs, and were phenomenal ambassadors at events like the Young Hearts Friend Fest, Cookie Decorating Party, Douglas Elliman Ride for Love, and Golden Heart Awards.

We are looking forward to watching you grow in to your bright futures, Cohort 1!
