World Cancer Day is observed worldwide on February 4. It is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about cancer, promoting early detection, prevention, and treatment, and advocating for improved access to healthcare services for cancer patients.

In honor of this day, the God’s Love We Deliver nutrition department would like to share a few new resources available for clients living with cancer including a live webinar on February 26, 2025, at 5:00pm on Nutrition Considerations During Cancer Treatment. Topics covered in the webinar will include the benefits of eating well during treatment, strategies for managing treatment related side effects, nutrients to support the immune system, and the importance of food safety during treatment. The webinar is scheduled for 1 hour and will include time for questions.

The content covered in the webinar will also be available as a three-part series on the God’s Love We Deliver website, Nutrition Education portal.
