Housing Works and God’s Love We Deliver have joined forces to provide free, medically tailored meals for individuals living with severe and chronic illnesses, ensuring that our Amida Care clients receive vital support in the comfort of their homes. This impactful collaboration enhances care continuity, empowering patients with essential resources along their health journey.
This new program offers weekly deliveries of nutritious meals designed specifically for individuals living with severe and chronic illnesses, all at no cost to you. The program lasts for at least six months, ensuring you receive vital support to help manage your health.
If you’re interested in this opportunity, here’s what you need to know:
- Do you have access to a refrigerator and freezer?
- Do you have access to a heating source, such as an oven, microwave, or hot plate?
- Are you or someone else in your household available to accept deliveries once or twice a week? (We’ll notify you in advance when deliveries are scheduled.)
If you don’t have access to one of these appliances, let us know—we may be able to make special accommodations to ensure you can still participate in the program.
God’s Love We Deliver is the NYC metropolitan area’s leading provider of home-delivered medically tailored meals for individuals living with severe and chronic illness like cancer, Alzheimer’s, renal failure, COPD, HIV/AIDS, or other serious condition. Registered Dietitian Nutritionists work with each client to provide them with ongoing nutrition education and counseling, as well as design their individualized meal plan. All meals and services are FREE to clients and full of love.
