Volunteer Ann Bodnar: Home Away From Home, With a Heart
If it's Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., Ann Bodnar is volunteering in the God's Love kitchen, her "home away from home"!
On May 15, More than 250 volunteers attended our annual Volunteer Celebration presented by American Express at the Copacabana in Times Square, which featured food, drinks, disco balls, and dancing (and our volunteers do dance!). Many thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to make it a great night for everyone. The party is a great reminder that our volunteer community is huge—the 2016 NYC Volunteers Count report from NYC Service just named God’s Love as the nonprofit that engages the greatest number of volunteers in NYC—but also smart, fun, and truly devoted to our mission. We truly have the best volunteers in the world and we had a blast celebrating them. Huge thank you to our friends at American Express for presenting the party and for all of their amazing support!View more photos from the Celebration here.
