9th Annual Golden Heart Awards

More than 700 guests attended our Ninth Annual Golden Heart Awards on Thursday, October 15 and what an evening of golden hearts! The sold-out gala, which was held at Spring Studios in Manhattan, featured a welcome from famed singer-songwriter, actress, and comedian Bette Midler, who chronicled the our 30-year history. She then introduced Michael Sennott, former God’s Love Co-Chairman of the Board and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who received the Golden Heart Award for Outstanding Volunteerism. Following Michael Sennott’s inspiring remarks about his journey with God’s Love, Michael Kors presented Neil Patrick Harris with the Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service. God’s Love President & CEO Karen Pearl then took to the stage to introduce the new God’s Love agency video followed by a rousing auction, led by Jamie Niven. We thank our friends and supporters for attending, and for being such golden hearts!
