Yesterday evening we had the pleasure of welcoming Mark Bittman and Gramercy Tavern’s Executive Chef Michael Anthony to God’s Love for a Community Table. Mark Bittman is the author of more than 30 acclaimed books including the, How to Cook Everything series and has written for the New York Times for more than two decades becoming the country’s first food-focused op-ed columnist for a major news publication. Mark and Michael, with the help of God’s Love’s Executive Chef Daniel, demonstrated three versions of a “one pot” pasta while answering a variety of questions about cooking in the home and how the way people eat has changed during their careers. Each guest went home a signed copy of Mark Bittman’s 20 anniversary edition of How to Cook Everything. Thank you to everyone who came, and thank you to Mark Bittman and Chef Michael Anthony for such an incredible evening.
