I’ve just returned from a conference sponsored by our national organization, ANSA. ANSA is the Association of Nutrition Services Agencies and it represents organizations like God’s Love on Capitol Hill. Together, we work to increase funding for food and nutrition programs.

It was great being with so many colleagues from around the country. There’s always so much to share and so much to learn. I loved hearing about our friends in Boston who are growing their own herbs. Or our friends in Minneapolis who are helping communities in South Africa grow their own gardens to feed more than 50 children a day. Or our colleagues in San Francisco who run a seniors meal program.

Of course, they loved hearing about our new children’s meal, our HIV/AIDS Diabetes program, our fabulous special events and so much more. The conversation was lively and engaging, and I can’t wait to see everyone again next year.
