On Monday, God’s Love joined the rest of New York City in preparing for Blizzard Juno. To get ahead of the snow, our drivers left to make deliveries earlier than usual, and our kitchen doubled up on tasks in order to close early. We delivered Blizzard Boxes on Monday to the Far Rockaways and other outlying areas, and we also kitted Wednesday’s meals.

When severe weather strikes the New York metropolitan area, everyone faces special challenges, especially those who are too ill to shop or cook for themselves and rely on our services.

We would like to thank our many volunteers who assisted in the preparation and delivering of these much needed meals. The Huffington Post Good News and The Huffington Post Impact both reported on our blizzard preparations.
