Over Valentine’s Day weekend, God’s Love We Deliver was the honored beneficiary of #BigLoveWknd, founded by our dear friend, volunteer and supporter, Jason Patrick (a.k.a. Bearded Yogi). This wellness weekend of yoga, fresh juice, live music, dance party and more, brought yogis and friends together to celebrate love and support God’s Love!
On Saturday, guests of the wellness day enjoyed:
A puja ceremony guided by Priest Prakash
Talk by Gabrielle Bernstein, the author Spirit Junkie: A Radical Road to Self Love and Miracles Of Modern Science gentle, Hatha-inspired yoga practice led by Britton Darby (instructor and co-owner, Modo Yoga NYC with live music performed by Sarah Neufeld (violinist, Arcade Fire) and Rebecca Foon (cellist, Saltland)
Talk by Jason Patrick (a.k.a. Bearded Yogi) and Emmett Findley, Manager of Communications of God’s Love We Deliver. Juice Press, SweetGreen Field and Field Apothecary provided guests with juices, teas and other nourishing snacks.
An invigorating Vinyasa/Flow-based yoga practice led by Dina Tsouluhas (instructor and co-owner, Moksha Yoga Montreal) and Guillaume Brun (instructor and co-owner of Modo Yoga, NYC) with beats provided by DJ Andre and DJ Natasha Blank (The Get Down, Cielo).
On Sunday evening, guests of the dance party and birthday bash enjoyed:

Remarks by Parker Posey who spoke fondly about the work God’s Love has done for so many over the years.
Guests enjoyed food and drink catered by the Breslin Bar & Dining Room and live music, with performances by The Pharoahs, Christine Cole, Robert Locke & Anny Finnestad
And of course, the evening concluded with the Big Love Dance Party, with a life performance by Sarah Neufeld and Rebecca Foon. Beats provided by DJ Andre and DJ Natasha Blank (The Get Down, Cielo).
The entire weekend was a celebration of community, love and giving back to the community. Thanks to Jason Patrick and every donor, volunteer and supporter of the event, Big Love Weekend raised more than $20,000 to benefit God’s Love We Deliver, which will, in turn, help fund more than 2,000 nutritious, individually tailored meals for the clients of God’s Love living with severe illness.
