Busy Philipps Visits God’s Love We Deliver Kitchen to Call for Thanksgiving Volunteers

Busy Philipps is busy, but not as busy as the God’s Love We Deliver kitchen during Thanksgiving!

In a new video, the actress calls for volunteers to help ensure God’s Love clients living with 200+ life-altering illnesses – and their families – feel supported and cared for this holiday season.

This Thanksgiving, God’s Love will make 18,000 Thanksgiving feasts; every client receives a guest meal so that no one has to spend the holiday alone. God’s Love will work with 3,000 volunteers to make this year’s Thanksgiving celebration happen. Be a part of it!

Philipps, best known for her roles in Freaks and Geeks, Dawson’s Creek, and, most recently, Girls5eva, has seen firsthand how important volunteers are to make the city’s largest industrial kitchen tick year-round, and especially during the holidays.

God’s Love, which is the only medically tailored meal provider in the New York Metropolitan area, serves 17,000 clients each year and relies on 23,000 volunteers to help with driving deliveries, walking deliveries, and more.
