We closed out the month of February visiting the 21st annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) in sunny South Florida. It was a joy to spend time with so many supporters of God’s Love We Deliver while celebrating this iconic festival. Much like the New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF), each event showcased world-renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs, and culinary personalities. All proceeds from the weekend were donated to the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.
The four-day destination festival included exciting events such as the Artisan Market on Lincoln Road and the Calirosa Tequila Sunset Happy Hour. Our Board member, Melba Wilson, even served as one of the judges at the Red Stripe Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons®! Director of Key Donors and Corporate Partnerships, Stephen Covello, attended various SOBEWFF activations alongside existing and new friends of God’s Love. Stephen says:
“The South Beach Wine & Food Festival is a marvelous opportunity for God's Love to engage with new and existing supporters, sponsors & friends, who convene around food, nutrition, chefs, restaurants and epicurean delights. We look forward to next year!”
