On Tuesday, June 15th we celebrated God’s Love Culinary Council member Samah Dada and her new cookbook DADAeats. Samah started the event in conversation with fellow Culinary Council member Zoe Adjonyoh, discussing cultural appreciation versus appropriation in the food space. Samah then went on to demonstrate two recipes from her new book, the Chilled Chaat Masala Chickpea Salad and Churro Pancake Truffles. Both recipes really incapsulate what Samah’s cookbook is about, dishes that are plant-based, full of spices, unique, and most importantly, DELICIOUS. Her charisma and joyful personality resonated through our screens as guests cooked along, asked questions and enjoyed watching her cook!
