Dear Volunteer Community,
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our volunteer department at God’s Love We Deliver with the addition of three outstanding team members. Please join us in welcoming Brian Thompson as Manager, and Shari Rueckl and Jonathan Gaffney as Volunteer Engagement Coordinators.
First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our incredible volunteers, YOU! Without your dedication and hard work, we would not be able to serve our clients living with life-altering illnesses. Congratulations on helping us hit a 39-year record by serving over 4.3 million meals this fiscal year ending, June 30, 2024.
Volunteer Manager
Brian W. Thompson, our new Volunteer Manager, brings over a decade of management experience in fast-paced luxury retail environments. His expertise in operational excellence, process optimization, and visual merchandising, along with his project management skills, will be invaluable as he supports our volunteer team under the guidance of our Director, Yolanda.
Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
Shari Rueckl joins us as a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator with over 15 years of experience in project management and community outreach. Shari has managed educational programs and coordinated events at various organizations. Her dedication to sustainability and community engagement makes her a fantastic addition to our team.
Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
Jonathan Gaffney, also a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, brings over four years of experience in public interest advocacy and volunteer management. His recent role with the Coalition for the Homeless highlights his commitment to improving services for vulnerable populations. Jonathan's skills in policy advocacy and coalition building will greatly enhance our volunteer engagement efforts.
