Families Escaped Freezing Temps to Attend our 4th Annual Young Hearts Friend Fest!

Guests bedazzled Touchland hand sanitizers with help from Live Rainbowfully charm bar, decorated cupcakes from Little Cupcake Bake Shop, relaxed with an indulgent hand massage from Naturopathica masseuses, and helped spread Valentine’s Day cheer by decorating a banner with Craft Studios.

And that was just the beginning! A short trip down the spiral slide opened kids onto the Levi’s Denim Bar, where they customized an airbrushed backpack with a design of their choice. As the paint dried, they built forts with Superspace and sped around on Roll Rider scooters.

The Museum of Ice Cream is famous for its frozen treats, but that wasn’t all on offer at the Friend Fest: with burgers and chicken bites from Shake Shack, pizza from Emmy Squared, Breads Bakery’s finest baked goods, and a grazing table supported by Bezi labneh, we made sure no guest left hungry.

We are so grateful for our major supporters at this Friend Fest, particularly the generosity of Judy Hart Angelo, whose generosity powered so much of this event. Special thanks also to the incredible efforts of our Organizing Committee who partnered with us to produce this incredible day: Sophie Elgort, Alana Frankfort, Linda Greenberg, Kandice Halpin, Leigh Lezark, Kristi Ribbecke, Melissa Rosenfield, and Mona Swanson.

All of the proceeds from this event benefit the Young Hearts program at God’s Love We Deliver. Young Hearts engages young people in volunteerism and philanthropy though service field trips, leadership councils, and family-friendly activations like the Friend Fest. We’re so proud to bring the energy, joy, and creativity of young people to support the life-saving mission of God’s Love We Deliver.
