This past Sunday was the New York City Marathon and God’s Love We Deliver definitely represented! Members of the God’s Love family that participated included staff members Karen Bdera and Alyson Giller, volunteers Douglas Kurdziel, Angela Martin and Sadie Whitelocks, and past volunteers Sam Oher and JT Hutchens. The race covered 26.2 miles and all 5 boroughs and, despite the chilly weather, our folks (along with over 40,000 others!) braved it all. Quite a warm-up for the Race to Deliver, huh? For anyone who cheered from the sidelines, watched on TV or volunteered, it was a wonderful day and so inspiring to see the athletes’ determination. A very special thank you goes out to Douglas and Angela who took on the challenge of raising $2,500 each for God’s Love to get their spot in the race!
