God’s Love + Project Angel Food = HEARTraiser

Last week, Karen Pearl, David Ludwigson, and Stephen Covello traveled to Los Angeles to participate in our first-ever #Heartrasier with West Coast sister organization, Project Angel Food. Long-time supporters, Bri and Bruce Nelson, hosted the event at their exquisite home in Laurel Canyon.

Bruce Nelson kicked off the evening recognizing and celebrating the impressive accomplishments of both agencies throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Both Karen Pearl and Richard Ayoub delivered remarks highlighting the two organizations’ recent achievements.  

We were thrilled to see some of our West Coast friends including Jonah Disend, Jamar Rogers, Christopher and Katie Trump-Rechin, Brian Eley and Eric Hastings. While in Los Angeles, we also had the opportunity to tour Project Angel Food and meet with Lance Williams and Grant Kretchik from the David Geffen Foundation and representatives from the Fred B. Snite Foundation.
