As part of Major League Baseball’s Commissioner’s Community Initiative, this season the Mets continue to recognize staff from local non-profit organizations that have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on our community. In honor of National Volunteer Month, the Mets highlighted God’s Love We Deliver as their Community Hero.
God’s Love We Deliver President and CEO, David Ludwigson, staff, and volunteers were honored with tickets, gift bags, and a pre-game ceremony at the April 27 home game against the Washington Nationals which the Mets won, 9-8.
Thank you to the Amazin’ Mets Foundation and the New York Mets for this award and a fun night out at Citi Field. Go Mets!
