God’s Love We Deliver Receives Accreditation from the Food is Medicine Coalition!
We are thrilled to announce that God’s Love We Deliver is an accredited member of the Food Is Medicine Coalition!
Why it matters: God’s Love is part of the leading group of FIMC-Accredited agencies that follow approved standards to prepare and provide a high-quality medically tailored meal intervention for clients living with severe, chronic or complex illness(es).
Bottom line: FIMC Accreditation provides verified credibility for the MTM intervention we provide. We are proud of the lifesaving and lifechanging work we provide to clients daily!
“We congratulate God’s Love We Deliver on this remarkable achievement,” said Alissa Wassung, Executive Director of FIMC. “Their accreditation demonstrates leadership and commitment to advancing the food is medicine movement and ensuring equitable access to lifesaving interventions for those who need them most.”
FIMC is the national coalition of nonprofit organizations that provide MTMs, medically tailored groceries (MTGs), medical nutrition therapy, nutrition counseling and education to people in communities across the country living with severe and chronic illnesses. FIMC advances equitable access to these life-saving interventions through policy change, research and evaluation, and best practices.
We are honored to receive this status and excited for what’s to come in the food is medicine movement.
