Starting Sunday, April 15th, we are celebrating National Volunteer Week at God’s Love We Deliver! We’re kicking the week off with our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party on Monday evening. It’s always an incredible night with dinner, drinks, music and great raffle prizes! We hope to see all of you there, so ditch the hairnets and grab your dancing shoes! We’re also partnering with our dear friends from Ralph Lauren, who will be volunteering with us every day this week. We’re so happy to have them join us in the celebration!

Our volunteers are truly the backbone of this agency and we’re thankful for you every day of the year. But it’s always nice to have a reason to show some extra love and gratitude for all your time, energy and hard work. Each one of you has made the conscious decision to make God’s Love a part of your life. And while we certainly have a lot of fun here, it’s not always easy. Whether it’s coming to the kitchen at the crack of dawn or after a long day at work, making walking deliveries in the rain, sitting in traffic while van assisting, tackling an overwhelming amount of client voicemails or travelling an hour on the train to package meal kits, you’ve all made sacrifices that enable us to provide over 1 million meals each year to our clients. 1 MILLION MEALS! It’s an astounding number and behind each meal is one of you… chopping, scooping, wrapping, delivering, lifting, filing, calling, kitting… caring. From all of us at God’s Love and on behalf of our clients, we thank you for caring to volunteer!
