Harvest 2017

On November 2, more than 350 people attended HARVEST, an annual fall cocktail party sponsored by our young professionals group, generationLOVE (genLOVE). At the event, supporters were encouraged to participate in our #GiveUpGiveBack initiative, by joining our monthly giving program and finding something they can “give up to give back” to support our mission. “Give Up, Give Back” is the way that God’s Love contextualizes the monthly pledge to The Kitchen Cabinet program to show how easy it is to give something up in order to fund meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves. “Give Up, Give Back” reminds us that by making a small change in our lifestyle, like choosing to forgo two coffees a month or bringing lunch to work a few times a month, we are able to provide not just two meals, but love, hope, and dignity, to a neighbor living with severe illness.

God’s Love would like to thank our phenomenal host committee: Jens Audenaert, Julia Casella, Allison Chiaramonte, Carlo B. Cisco, Hannah Coates, Joshua Cohen, Nick Compagnone, Meredith Cram, Charles Diamond, Danielle Falls, Lindsay Feinberg, Bryan Frank, Cailin Gibbons, Julia Heck, Trent M. Huffman, Christina Idol, Alexandra Idol, Chloe Kelley, Douglas H. Kurdziel, Jonathan Lau, Anjuli Nanda, Jake Rath, Danielle Segal, Jaclyn Selby, and Catherine Sutherland. Guests enjoyed beats by DJ Lina and food from Canard, Inc. God’s Love would like to thank event sponsors Delta Air Lines, Big Apple Hard Cider, Cacao Prieto, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
