Healthy Starts from Young Hearts – Thank You, Riverdale Country Lower School!

This weekend, families from the Riverdale Country Lower School came to God’s Love to volunteer. This marks the third year in a row that Riverdale has volunteered with God’s Love We Deliver.

The students quickly picked up the tasks at hand, packing over 700 breakfast kits. These breakfasts are an essential pillar of our Healthy Starts initiative, which aims to support the health of pregnant and post-natal mothers as well as supply all kids on our program with healthy, filling breakfasts before they tackle the day’s activities.

Afterwards, the Riverdale students showed off their creativity by decorating Valentine’s Day cards for our clients. They were able to create over 80 unique masterpieces! This personal touch is just one of the ways we infuse love in the services we provide. There’s nothing quite as sweet as a handmade Valentine’s card!
