Hudson Valley, Our Hearts are Full

For years, we have talked about deepening our presence in the Hudson Valley, and to finally see that vision come to life, surrounded by friends, Board members, supporters, partners, and neighbors, was incredibly meaningful.

The energy in the room was exactly what defines God’s Love: care, compassion, joy, and a powerful sense of community. It was a true reflection of why we do this work and the people who make it possible.

We were honored to share more about our mission with the Hudson Valley community, including the individuals and families we proudly serve in Columbia County and beyond. Seeing such a warm and immediate outpouring of support reminded us just how universal our mission is – and how deeply people believe that food is medicine and food is love.

A heartfelt thank YOU to Hudson Mayor Joe Ferris for joining us and speaking so movingly about his connection to God’s Love and the impact of the 1115 Medicaid Waiver, which is expanding access to vital nutrition services for so many.

This special evening would not have been possible without the incredible leadership and vision of our Board member, Pedro L. Rodriguez, whose passion for this community and commitment to our mission helped bring this gathering to life. Pedro – Thank YOU for championing this moment and for helping us take such an important step forward.
