We were hosted by Camila Polo, the Brand and Partnerships Director for Heermance Farm. She was gracious and bubbly from the start with a warm welcome invite into the barn (which also serves to harvest steelhead trout). This is not just a barn but a unique art gallery with painted cows, mobiles hung from the ceiling, and wow colors throughout. Suddenly we looked down to see fresh garlic drying like a gorgeous rug. The hospitality continued with a lovely spread of cheese, fruits, and assorted tasty bites. We got gifts of eggs, garlic, basil, fresh-picked lettuce, peppers and fabulous carrots.
It was the intersection of art, creativity and farming as we meandered the lush fields filled with wildflowers, surrounded by mountain ranges and art installations. With all this beauty, we knew the greatest growth of Heermance Farn is their community outreach, they are not just farm to table but farm to our clients’ tables providing pounds of basil for summer recipes made in our kitchen and delicious Brussel sprouts that complete our God’s Love We Deliver Thanksgiving. It comes with love and their enthusiastic staff who volunteer in our kitchen. Thank you Heermance Farm for all you share and donate, thank you kind donors for supporting our growth.
