At God’s Love We Deliver, our volunteers are a part of just about every aspect of production. They work in the kitchen, in the office, at events and in the community delivering meals. But there are several other ways to volunteer with us, all of which can be done in the comfort of your home! Read on for more info on these fun and much-needed volunteer opportunities!
– Video Editing – Our Communications Department is seeking volunteers to assist with the creation, editing and publishing of videos for YouTube/Vimeo, PSAs and events. Must have own video equipment and editing equipment. These opportunities are on a case-by-case basis but ideally the volunteer is available to speak during business hours and available for notes/reachable by email to discuss projects for approximately 1 hour a week. Also opportunity to discuss edits after 5pm. Each volunteer may have approximately 1-2 projects per month. Contact Em Findley at efindley@glwd.org for additional information.
– Graphic Design – Our Communications Department is seeking volunteers to assist with the creation of graphic designs and advertisements. Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience is a plus. These opportunities are on a case-by-case basis but ideally the volunteer is available to speak during business hours, 9a-5p Monday through Friday with the option of speaking after 5pm. – Birthday Cards – We believe what makes God’s Love so special is the personal touch we add to every meal. This includes special meals on holidays and a personalized cake for each client on his or her birthday. To accompany the cake, we include birthday cards and to accompany our holiday meals, we package them in decorated holiday bags, all made by local elementary and high school students.
