Dear Community,
We hear all the time from clients how much our medically tailored meal program improves their health and well-being. Whether it’s receiving a birthday cake on their special day, or opening the door to a big smile from their delivery driver, we know that our clients feel the love in “food is love.” We also know that medically tailored meals work and that food is medicine.
Our client Antonia learned about us through a representative from EmblemHealth, a non-profit health insurer serving New York communities. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, Antonia recently shared with us precisely how much her health had improved on our meal program, noting that, thanks to her diet, her A1C levels dropped from 8 to 6, helping to reduce her medication from two pills to one.
God’s Love was thrilled to hear of Antonia’s success with her health markers and her gratitude for the program.
“God’s Love makes me feel important….You feel like someone is taking care of you, and that means everything.”
Read her whole story in The New York Post.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our medically tailored meal program, please reach out. If you work for a healthcare organization and would like to partner with us to support your members with meals and nutrition services, please let us know. We are here to help!
With gratitude,
Dorella Walters
Chief Business Development Officer
