Medically tailored food is the future of health care
God’s Love We Deliver President & CEO, Karen Pearl penned an Op-ed for The Hill on the importance of medically tailored meals and the recent creation of the House Hunger Caucus Bipartisan Food is Medicine Working Group led by Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) and others. In the article, Pearl describes the importance of medically tailored meals in healthcare and how recent research has proven it to be a low cost, high-impact intervention. She says, ““Food Is Medicine” is more than a quaint cliché.
