Queer Cookbook Cabaret with Queer Soup Night and Jarry

Everyone had a blast at the Queer Cookbook Cabaret, our night celebrating cookbooks by queer authors and the work of God’s Love.

Kathy Tu of WNYC’s “Nancy” podcast brought fabulous queer commentary to fun and informative cooking demos and tastings. Lukas Volger demo’ed his Cauliflower and Kimchi Sandwiches from his forthcoming book “Start Simple”; Zoe Adjonyoh, made Tatale with Red Red from her book “Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen”, and our own Chef Ryan, made one of the newest soups on the God’s Love menu: Lemony Lentil and Quinoa.

Special thanks to Lukas, Zoe, Ryan, Kathy, Liz Alpern, Marion Brewer, Molly Breidenthal, Kathleen Cunningham, Jennifer Martin, and Mike Campagnile. Huge thanks to all of our friends at Queer Soup Night, Jarry and everyone who made this event possible.

And thank you to to Kitchen Arts & Letters for selling the cookbooks at the event.
