More than 5,500 participants set out around Central Park this Sunday to run, walk, and cheer at this year’s Race to Deliver, raising more than $285,000 for God’s Love We Deliver. A symbol of our own daily race to ensure no one has to face the unthinkable combination of illness and hunger, we were thrilled so have so many join us at the 29th annual fundraiser.
With your support, the event raised much-needed funds to help feed and nourish our neighbors living with cardiovascular disease, cancer, HIV, Alzheimer’s disease, and other severe illnesses. Congratulations to all of the participants! You warm our hearts with your dedication to our life-affirming mission.
The Race is symbolic of what we do every day to get meals to those who need us. Being sick and hungry is a crisis that demands an urgent response and thanks to our generous community, we have never had and never will have a waiting list. We are grateful for your dedication to some of the most marginalized and vulnerable New Yorkers.

We would like to give a special thanks to New York Road Runners, sponsors ADP, Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, Gramercy Tavern, and MAC VIVA GLAM Fund, our teams, our participants, and those who cheered us on in person and virtually.
Team Wright
Our volunteer and supporter Diane Johnson and her kids Woody and Louise run with their Team Wright every year in loving memory of Diane’s husband, Lee Wright, who passed away in 1988. Read their story of loving commitment in New York Daily News.
