On Sunday, April 16, dozens of students and parents from Riverdale Lower School volunteered at God’s Love for their annual spring Service Day!
More than fifty volunteers, from pre-k to parent, got to work decorating cards for our clients’ birthdays , building breakfast kits for the children of our clients , and filling gift bags for our volunteers in celebration of National Volunteer Week. We’re sure they broke a world record in breakfast-kitting speed. Thank you to Lauren Bush Lauren and Lynn Baskt for organizing this special event, and we’re grateful for every volunteer’s enthusiasm and love they put in to each volunteer activity. These Young Hearts have made a difference in the lives of our clients, and we can’t wait to work with them again.
