South Florida Swing: God’s Love We Deliver has Fun with Friends in Florida

Last month, members of our team had the pleasure of attending our annual South Florida Swing events hosted by our dear friends in Florida! We were joined by our dedicated Board of Director members Blaine Trump, David Terveen, Gabrielle McGee and Alexandra Idol; our Board of Trustees members Adrian Kahan, Jonathan Raiola, and Mike Moran; our genLove Executive Committee member Jonathan Lau; and our dear friend Jeff Gates, all who graciously showed their support for God’s Love.

The journey started with an intimate cocktail gathering hosted by Sam and Dena Lombardo at Quail Valley in Vero Beach. After, Tom Ford hosted a celebratory cocktail party to commemorate our efforts at Carriage House in Palm Beach.

“I have been involved with God’s Love We Deliver for decades.  It is important to support and create awareness of the tremendous humanitarian work that God’s Love We Deliver provides people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses by preparing and delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.” -Tom Ford

The following evening, we had the pleasure of joining our friends at The Colony in Palm Beach for another delightful evening of cocktails and camaraderie.

In Miami Beach, we were treated to a unique experience at Bruce Halpryn and Chas Riebe’s new gallery, Visu Contemporary, which showcased a captivating exhibit by David LaChapelle. 10% of the event’s sales will be generously dedicated to supporting God’s Love.

The Florida tour culminated with a visit to The Food Network South Beach Wine & Festivals, presented by Capital One, in Miami. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old acquaintances and forge new friendships while furthering our mission.

We are filled with excitement as we continue to raise awareness of our cause and connect with individuals who believe that food is love and food is medicine! Special thanks to all our hosts for their warm reception and our volunteer leadership for joining us along the way!
