NEW YORK – God’s Love We Deliver and the LOVE ROCKS NYC team have announced today that the fourth annual LOVE ROCKS NYC benefit concert, which was scheduled for tonight at the Beacon Theatre in NYC, will now take place under a restricted attendance policy. Attendees at the concert will be limited to core artist personnel, event staff, essential team staff, credentialed media and immediate family. The concert will now be available as a live stream starting at 8:00pmET tonight to all ticketholders.
Alternately, anyone who purchased their ticket through Ticketmaster phone or Internet will be automatically refunded. Any ticketholder that would like to donate the ticket price to God’s Love can do so at: https://godslovenyc.org/giveloverocksnyc
The decision was made jointly by the concert’s executive producers and God’s Love We Deliver this morning in response to the continuously changing news and necessary protocols being put in place.
“We have made this decision due to the rapid progression of COVID-19 and escalating developments nationally, as well as through guidance we have received from medical experts, local authorities and other sources. The support of our fans has made LOVE ROCKS NYC one of the leading benefit concerts in New York City each year, and has provided God’s Love We Deliver with the incredible outpouring needed to help provide life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people in the New York Metropolitan area living with severe illness. However, the health and well-being of our clients and supporters is always our top concern and priority,” said the concert’s executive producers and God’s Love We Deliver. “We are extremely grateful to our supporters, sponsors and fans for their understanding and cooperation as we manage a very difficult situation. We also want to ensure that the entire God’s Love We Deliver community remains healthy and informed during this difficult time so we can continue to serve the needs of our clients.”
