Stephen Covello Named Chief Development Officer of God’s Love We Deliver

To know him is to love him and to love him is to celebrate the fact that Stephen Covello has been promoted to Chief Development Officer! ❤️👏

Stephen joined us in 2009 to pursue what he tells us is the “career of a lifetime.” After spending eight months volunteering daily, he joined the Volunteer Department and spent three years welcoming our wonderful early bird volunteers to their shifts.

From there, Stephen moved in to the Development Department where he worked as Major Gifts Officer, stewarding existing and new relationships for the Golden Heart Society. With each position that followed – Manager, Partnerships & Key Donors and then Director of Development, Individual and Major Gifts – Stephen lead efforts to develop corporate relationships and support major giving efforts by maintaining a portfolio of 400 donors. And, during all of that, Stephen lead initiatives in planned giving with our Legacy Society and with our young professionals group, genLOVE.
