On September 8, God’s Love was proud to be able to attend the Education Expo at the 2019 Race for the Cure. Ably staffed by Program Outreach Coordinator Ralph Wilson and six volunteers, God’s Love was able to connect with those who could benefit from our home-delivered medically tailored meals.
The Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen has supported God’s Love for since 2007. With their help, we are able to provide 82,730 medically tailored meals to 313 people affected by breast cancer, including breast cancer patients, their children and senior caregivers.
Komen also supports our efforts to educate underserved communities throughout the NY metropolitan area with outreach and nutrition presentations.
We’re grateful to everyone at Komen for their ongoing and generous support, and look forward to cheering everyone on at next year’s Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure!
