Thanksgiving 2016

More than 1,200 generous volunteers joined us today to help us prepare and deliver 4,400 Thanksgiving meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life altering illnesses in the New York City metropolitan area. This year’s meal delivery included more than 1,400 guest meals, so that each client could invite a friend to spend the holiday with them. Our holiday meals were delivered in a cheerful, hand-decorated bag designed by local school children. Each household also received a holiday gift basket filled with treats to help make the day special. Thank you to everyone who made today possible as we worked together to #CelebrateWithAPlate!

Celebrating National Volunteer Week

Each and every one of our volunteers is integral in achieving our important mission. Without them, we simply would not be able to cook and home deliver meals to so many thousands of our neighbors in need.
