On Thursday, May 14 at the historic Maidstone Club in East Hampton, we gathered for the third annual God’s Love Open, a day that brought together sport enthusiasts and supporters who all share a common goal: ensuring New Yorkers affected by serious illness receive the nutritious meals they urgently require.
Marshall Sandman, Co-Chair Roberta Graves, emcee Katrina Adams, and influencer Savannah Gowarty
We were thrilled to have longtime friend, tennis trailblazer Katrina Adams, join us as emcee, bringing her energy and passion to an already inspiring event. Despite rain throughout much of the day, participants brought a sense of camaraderie and generosity from the tee-off to the final awards presentation.
Golf lovers from near and far brought umbrellas and fun to our group photo before piling into their carts and starting to play. We were thrilled to welcome dozens of wonderful ambassadors and supporters, including golf influencer Savannah Gowarty, Co-Chairs Michael Anthony, Roberta Graves, Terence Meehan, and Michael Sennott as well as Committee members James Palazza, Andrew Stone, and Nancy Weber. Their enthusiasm and commitment helped make the day truly special.
We may have had fierce competition on the course but we had a lot of love and laughter throughout the day! Participants enjoyed a full day of sports and challenged themselves to win the hole-in-one sponsored by Audi Southampton. Congratulations to our golf players:
1st Place Net: 56 (-16) David Bernstein, David Rosen, Jennifer Song, Haesu Park
1st Place Gross: 63 (-9) Richard de Villiers, Mia Mazzocco, Michael Loewenstein, Laddie Sanford

As our President & CEO Terrence Meck shared during the program, every swing, every putt, and every moment of support helps drive our mission further. The funds raised during the God’s Love Open will directly support our ability to cook and home-deliver medically tailored meals to New Yorkers living with life-altering illnesses.
Last year alone, we prepared and delivered 4 million meals to 15,000 individuals across the city. With the help of events like the God’s Love Open (GLO), we can continue to meet the growing need for our services.
In a silent auction provided by GSM Charity Auctions, guests bid on fantastic prizes and sponsored program items for God’s Love clients.
We closed the day Katrina and Terrence reflecting on the need for God’s Love We Deliver in New York City and the power of our community to make that happen. We celebrated our winners with our awards ceremony, and enjoyed a fitting end to a day rooted in generosity and impact.

To everyone who joined us on the course, supported the event, and believes in our mission: thank you. Together, we’re ensuring that no New Yorker facing the dual crises of hunger and illness has to worry about where their next nourishing meal will come from.
See you at shotgun next year!
