On July 8, 2010 the God’s Love Volunteer Department embarked on a journey to find a new volunteer software application as the one we were using was outdated and no longer offered any support. After careful consideration we are pleased to announce that on May 20, 2011 we upgraded to VSys One and over the last two months the volunteer team has worked diligently behind the scenes to transfer all volunteer related information to the new platform. VSys One is a comprehensive database system that allows us to better manage our ever expanding volunteer family and provide us with tools to enhance the volunteer experience.
Some of the features that are helpful to us are expanded volunteer profiles, variety of built-in reports (over 90), training management, advanced log-in kiosk capabilities and customized communication tools including email and text.
In the coming months we’ll be rolling out VSys Live! With VSys Live, remote volunteers like our walking delivery folks can log in from any computer with internet access and sign up, select volunteer openings, track hours, view our volunteer calendar and upcoming events and send and receive messages. Opportunity searching can be done by location, date, skills, job group and project.
We’re very excited and look forward to having VSys One help us manage the next 25 years!
